Sasha Ono is a cellist and concert curator based in New York City where she performs and records music in various genres. Recent performances include work with Miley Cyrus, Ellie Goulding, Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Cyndi Lauper, Sarah Brightman, Kristin Chenoweth, Kate Nash, Jessica Betts, 8-Bit Big Band, Lawrence, Il Volo, Laufey, Mozart in the Jungle, and Streetlight Manifesto. Sasha has been featured as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician at venues including Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, National Sawdust, David Geffen Hall, Madison Sq. Garden, Brooklyn Mirage, as well as international performance venues. Sasha has also appeared on National TV on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “The Tamron Hall Show” as well as on NPR Tiny Desk. International performances include a tour of Northern Japan to raise awareness and funds for areas still heavily impacted by the tsunami and earthquakes.
